Charles Arthur Daunt, Jr.

Daunt, Charles Arthur, Jr. of Belmont, entered into eternal rest at home surrounded by his partner, Will for over 35 years.  He was 93 years old.  Charlie was born in Boston and was a lifelong resident of Belmont.  He worked in banking and was retired from Brookline Trust as a Senior Vice President. Charlie also served int the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged as a First Lieutenant.  Charlie and Will enjoyed their time together having taken many, many  ocean liner cruises; traveled to Alaska and took a single engine airplane ride over  the Glaciers;  and many other enjoyable trips together..

He was the devoted son of the late Charles Arthur Daunt, Sr. and Margaret (Love) Daunt;  the dear and beloved partner of Wilfred F. Bielitz for 35 and it was love at first sight; and the loving master of his canine companion, Lady Princess.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Charlie's visiting hours in the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home, 52 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. His funeral home service will be on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 11 a.m.  Services will conclude with U.S. Air Force Honors presented at the Belmont Cemetery.
