Helen M. (Mailhiot) Aveni

AVENI, Helen M. (Mailhiot) of Mashpee, formerly of Belmont, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 28, 2024.  She was 97 years old.  Born in Cambridge, Helen lived in Belmont for many years before settling in Mashpee.    Beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Aveni.  Dear and devoted mother of Josephine Markey and her husband, Ernest of Lynnfield, Maria Boelens and her husband, Peter of Naples, FL, Helen G. Aveni and Charles J. Aveni of Mashpee.  Sister of the late William Mailhiot and Charlotte Clancy. Sister in law of Maria Merlino and the late Joseph Merlino.  Loving grandmother of Joseph Markey and his wife, Jillian.
