CONWAY, Edouardine M. (Donovan) of Belmont, affectionately known as Dedine,  entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 23, 2020 in the Meadow Green Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waltham.  She was 94 years old. Edouardine was an Everett public schools kindergarten teacher , retiring after 38 years of educating.  She enjoyed art, paintings, china and glass figurines, brill and most of all flowers.  Nearly all of the paintings she loved had flowers in them She lived alone for over 50 years and was very active crocheting, needle-pointing and later teaching knitting while in her eighties.  She also knit caps and blanket sets for premature babies born at Belmont Hospital. Beloved wife of the late John Conway.  Daughter of the late John A. and Edouardine (Fayconnier) Donovan.  Sister of Edith Slager of Medford.  She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews; William Slager, Nancy Skipper and Laura Cotreau of Haverhill, Kathy Dolan of Keene, NH Susan O'Keefe of Atkinson, NH, Carol Stratton of Stoneham  Patty Lester of Medford, Cathy Rothman of Newton, Jim McNulty of Somerville, Michael McNulty of Stafford, VA and the late John Slager of Medford.  Due to the current restrictions placed on all of us because of COVID-19, all services will be held privately for the immediate family.  Late WW II, Navy veteran.  In lieu of flowers,  contributions in Edouardine’s memory to the Belmont Council on Aging “Transportation Account” 266 Beech St., Belmont, MA 02478 would be sincerely appreciated.
