DiLIBERO, Lena S. (Santamaria) of Watertown, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was 91 years old.  Born in Belmont, Lena lived in Watertown for many years.  She worked for many years as a secretary prior to her retirement.  Beloved wife of the late Angelo DiLibero.  Dear and devoted mother of Alexander DiLibero of Waltham and the late Steven and David DiLibero, Diane Kearins and her husband, Sean. Sister of the late Carmello, Joseph, Angelo, Albert and Peter Santamaria, and Mary Russo.  Loving grandmother of Lucas DiLibero.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Lena’s visiting hours in  the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home,  52 Trapelo Road, BELMONT,  Friday, Aug. 17 from 6-8 p.m. Her funeral will be from the funeral home on Saturday at 8 a.m.   followed by a funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s  Church, 212 Main St., Watertown at 9  a.m.  Interment Private.  Contributions in Lena’s memory to Careone Parmenter Hospice, One Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472  would be sincerely appreciated. You were one of the sweetest women I have ever met. Always so sincere.
Joanne and Alex so sorry for your loss. Joanne she will remember you forever for the wonderful care you gave her! Take care and remember all the good times.

My sincere condolences to you Alex. Lena was a lovely woman and well liked by all who knew her. Growing up on Westminster Avenue and sharing many good laughs & times with Lena and her children will always be a part of my memories. As time goes on you will find peace of mind Alex. Trust me!
