GARRITY, Ann M. (Dailey) of Watertown, formerly of Belmont, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 85 years old. Born in Boston, Ann lived in Belmont for many years before settling in Watertown. She had received her Masters in Education and worked for the Town of Watertown as a school teacher for many years, educating and guiding the young students of Watertown. Beloved wife of the late John G. “Jack” Garrity. Dear and devoted mother of John G. Garrity and his wife, Suzanne of Sudbury, James E. Garrity and his wife, Lori of Ridgewood, NJ, Brian F. Garrity of Watertown and William J. Garrity and his wife, Sarah of Needham. Loving sister of Jane E. Quinlan of Easton. Ann is also survived by 9 cherished grandchildren. Daughter of the late John H. and Helen F. (Toohey) Dailey. Because of COVID-19, services for Ann will be private for the safety and concern for those they love. Anne was a dear friend and neighbor,she always had a positive attitude and always encouraging with wise wisdom. We surely shall miss her so much but she had very strong faith and went to mass always before covid. May god welcome you home into heaven and Rest In Peace. We all love you and will always miss you so much.
