|Connie and I met as Freshmen at Simmons College in 1945. We spent four years together there, and have remained close friends since then. Connie was one of the brightest women I have ever known, and a good and caring friend. We went through a lot together, but our friendship never wavered. We were solid. She adored her daughter, Nina, and her granddaughter, Jessica. I will miss her bright blue eyes and her wide smile.

|Dear Nina - Thank you for your very beautiful remembrance of your mother. We all shall never forget how bright and lovely she was - extremely well read - with one of the liveliest minds among her colleagues. May she rest in peace.
