Ann Hayes Obituary

HAYES, Ann J. (Connolly) of Quincy, formerly of Belmont,  entered into rest in the Even Tide Assisted living in Quincy on Friday, August 26, 2016.  She was 97 years old.  Ann was born in Everett, Massachusetts and lived in Belmont for many years before moving to Quincy.  Wife of the late Charles G. Hayes. Dear and devoted mother of Joseph E. Hayes and his wife, Deborah of Weymouth, William G. Hayes of Sweden, ME, Stephen G. Hayes of FL, Kathleen M. Hayes of Ballston Spa, NY, Brian T. Hayes and his wife, Joanne of Chester, NH, John P. Hayes of Orleans and the late Gerald C. Hayes.  Sister of the late Catherine, Mary, John and Michael Connolly.  Ann is also survived by 7 loving grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ann’s visitation in the Short, Williamson & Diamond  Funeral Home, 52 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, Tuesday, Aug. 30 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. followed by her funeral Mass in St. Luke’s Church, 132 Lexington St., Belmont, at 11 o’clock. Interment Belmont Cemetery. Contributions in Ann’s memory to the charity of one’s choice would be sincerely appreciated. Late WWII, Navy Veteran.  www.swdfuneralhome.com
