Anthony Piacitelli Obituary

PIACITELLI, Anthony " Tony" A. of Belmont,  entered into rest on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017 in the Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge.  He was 77 years old.  Anthony was born in Boston and lived in Belmont for all of his married life.  He was a master, custom cabinet maker by trade.  Beloved husband of Marie R. (Travia) for over 51 years.  Dear and devoted father of John A. Piacitelli, Sr. and his wife, Maura of Waltham.   Loving grandfather of John  (JJ) A. Piacitelli, Jr. and Joseph T. Piacitelli.  Brother of Dolores Fullen of Stow, Mary Mignanelli of Arlington and the late Alexander and Vincent Piacitelli.  Brother-in-law to Anthony Travia of Belmont.  Devoted Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Anthony’s visiting hours in the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home,  52 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, Friday,  April 21 from 4-7 p.m. His  funeral will be from the funeral home on Saturday at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, 130 Common St., Belmont, at 9 o’clock.
