Antoinette J. (Lisa) Amato

AMATO, Antoinette J. (Lisa) of Belmont, entered into rest on Saturday,April 18, 2015 in the Blue Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center in Stoughton, Massachusetts.  She was 93 years of age.  Born in Watertown, Antoinette lived in Belmont for many years..  Wife of the late Giovanni “John” Amato. Dear and devoted mother of Felix J. “Phil” Amato and his wife, Maura Higgins of Falmouth, ME.  Sister of Lucy Costabile of Wilmington, Evelyn Susi of Waltham and the late Peter, Salvatore and Joseph Lisa. Loving grandmother of Micaela and Sarah Amato.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Antoinette’s visiting hours in the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home,  52 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, Monday, April 20, from 5-7 p.m.  Her funeral will be from the funeral home on Tuesday at 8 a.m.  followed by a funeral Mass in St. Luke’s Church, 132 Lexington St. Belmont, at 9 a.m.  Interment Belmont Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Antoinette’s memory to Beacon Hospice, 182 N. Main St., Fall River, MA 02720  would be sincerely appreciated. Late member of the Watertown Sons of Italy.
