Antoinette Marie Tesoniero Verdier was born on November 28, 1938 in Pittsfield, MA.  She died peacefully of heart failure on December 16, 2023.  She and her husband of 58 years, Robin F. Verdier, lived in Belmont, MA.  She is also survived by her sons Benjamin, of Seattle, WA, and Christopher and his wife Liudmyla and her son Maksym, of Alexandria, VA.
Toni attended Middlebury College in Vermont, where she majored in English, was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society, and graduated cum laude in 1960.  After graduating, she taught English at Acton-Boxborough regional high school and later joined the College Marketing Group as a researcher until retiring.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening.  Following her wishes, there will be no funeral observances, but donations to any charity that directly benefits people would be appreciated.  swdfuneralhome.com
