VOUROS, Costa G. “Charlie”, 90, of Cape Coral, FL, Saturday, April 14, 2012. Born in Watertown, MA, in 1922 to George and Helen Vouros. He served his country honorably during WW II with the U.S. Navy as a Chief Electrician’s Mate. He lived in Watertown for many years where he co-owned and operated Watertown Sound and Electric with his brother, James. He retired in 1982 and moved to Florida. Charlie was an avid Ham Radio Operator and enjoyed photography. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Nancy of Cape Coral; his children Elaine Walker and her husband, Ted of Hanover, MA, and George Vouros of Coconut Creek, FL.; three grandchildren: Sarah, Alexander and Chase; three great-grandchildren: Madison, Olivia and Samuel; one brother James Vouros and his wife, Van of Cape Coral; four step-grandchildren, John, Christian, Nicholas and Kianna; two step great-grandchildren: Liam and Aiden. Charlie was preceded in death by his first wife of 37 years Christine; two sisters, Mary Boudouris and Irene Bebis and his step-daughter, Cynthia DeSimone. Funeral services in the Greek Orthodox Church (Taxiarchae) 25 Bigelow Ave. Watertown,, 02472, Thursday, April 19 at 11 o’clock. Relatives and friends may call at the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home, 52 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
