DENARO, Domenic F. of Watertown, entered into rest at home on Friday, February 14, 2014. He was 92 years of age. Born in Cambridge, Domenic lived in Watertown for many, many years. He was the proprietor of Automatic Cone Company in Cambridge until his passing. He was a graduate of Boston University. Domenic was a member and former Board of Director for 6 years of the New England Ice Cream Retailers' Association. Beloved husband of the late Emma C. (Corbo) Denaro. Dear and devoted father of James F. Denaro and his wife, Elizabeth of Arlington and Betsy R. Lavery and her husband, Tom of Gurnee, IL. Brother of Sarah Hirakis of CT, Margaret Draskovich of FL and the late Mary Hazen. Loving grandfather of Sean, Mark and Brian Lavery and Matthew and Emma Denaro. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Domenic’s visiting hours in the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home, 52 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, Tuesday, Feb. 18 from 4-8 p.m. His funeral will be from the funeral home on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Ignatius of Loyala Church, 28 Commonwealth Ave., Chestnut Hill, at 10 a.m. Interment with military honors will be in the Newton Cemetery.
