Donna (Wong) Chin

CHIN, Donna (Wong) of Belmont, entered into rest on Monday, May 1, 2023 in the South Cove Manor at Quincy Point after being in failing health.  She was 96 years old.  Born in Canton, China, Donna lived in Belmont for many years.  She was retired from the former Filene's Department Store in Belmont Center where she worked as a stock clerk.  Beloved wife of the late David C.K. Chin; dear and devoted mother of David C.K. Chin, Jr., M.D. and his wife Carolyn; Donna Y. Fong and her husband, James; Mary Y. Lee, M.D.; Linda Y. Chin and her husband, John Parissenti.  Sister of Homer Huang and his wife, Chunmee; Richard Hwang and his wife, June; Kathy Ung; Lanna Yuen; and Laura Chan and her husband, Peter.  Donna is also survived by 7 loving grandchildren and 6 loving great-grandchildren.  A private family service was held in the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home, 52 Trapelo Road, Belmont followed by a private family burial at the Mt.
