Eugene I. Whiteman

WHITEMAN, Eugene I. of Watertown, formerly of Oak Square, Brighton, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 7, 2021 in the Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge.  He was 89 years old.  Born in Boston, Gene had been living in Watertown for the last 20 years.  He was a truck driver by profession, retiring from the Boston Herald.  Gene was a proud veteran serving in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and honorably discharged as a sergeant.  Loving son of the late Doris (Schleifer) and Samuel Whiteman.  Beloved and devoted husband of Marion L. (Niedzwiecki) Whiteman for over 55 years.  Dear and devoted father of Joel M. Whiteman, Keith A. Whiteman and Craig S. Whiteman all of Watertown.  Dear brother of Donald Whiteman and his longtime companion, Sandy of Florida.  There are no services at this time.  swdfuneralhome.com
