Evadney Lurline (Burton) Powell

POWELL, Evadney Lurline (Burton) of Belmont,  entered into rest on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in her home in Belmont, surrounded by her loving family.  She was 89 years of age.  Born in Banes, Cuba, Evadney had been a Belmont resident for over 44 years.  She was a retired nursing assistant working at the Belmont Manor Nursing Center and a retired mental health worker retiring from the Walter E. Fernald State School.   Wife of the late Eric L. Powell.  Dear and devoted mother of Eric L. Powell, Jr. and his fiancé, Renee Arone of Belmont, Sandra Powell of CT, Norman Powell of NY, Elsa Powell of Belmont and Debra Finneran  of Warren, MA.  Loving grandmother of Aaron Powell and Gabrielle Powell.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to gather in the Short, Williamson and Daimond Funeral Home, 52 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, Thursday, July 25 at 11 a.m. with a service to follow at 12 noon.
