Florence P. Oteri

OTERI, Florence of Belmont, entered into rest on Saturday, February 16, 2013 in the Mt. Auburn Hospital after a brief illness.  She was 90 years of age.  Born in Belmont, Florence was a lifelong resident and for many years she enjoyed vacationing in Falmouth.  Florence was retired from the Grover Cronin Store in Waltham where she worked as credit manager.  Beloved daughter of the late Orazio “Harry” and Nancy Oteri.  Dear and devoted sister of Harry Oteri and Nancy MacIsaac of Belmont and the late Rose Elton, Frank Oteri, Margaret Calabrese, Anna Howe, Emily Youell and Dorothy Mele.  Also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral from Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home,  52 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, Friday, Feb. 22.  Funeral Mass in St. Luke’s Church at 10:30 am, 132 Lexington St. Belmont.   Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Interment Belmont Cemetery.  Late member of the Belaires and former member of the Maria Montessori Lodge, OSIA.   In lieu of flowers, contributions in Florence’s memory to the charity of one’s choice would be sincerely appreciated.  www.swdfuneralhome.com
