George W. McCurdy

McCURDY, George W. of Belmont, entered into rest unexpectedly, May 5, 2015 in the Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge.  He was 80 years of age.  Born in Boston, George lived in Belmont for over 25 years.  He was retired from the Bull Corporation where he worked as a procurement specialist.  Beloved husband of Frances M. (DeLuca) McCurdy for 55 years. Dear and devoted father of Linda McCurdy of Westborough, George W. McCurdy, Jr. and his wife, Paula of Hillsborough, NH and Judith A. Maurice and her husband, Garry of Belmont.  Brother of Claire Breen of Attleboro.  Loving grandfather of Ahryana and Garry Maurice and James and Lilly McCurdy. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend George’s funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, 130 Common St.,  Belmont, Wednesday, May 13 at 9 o’clock.  Interment with military honors will be at the Highland Meadow Cemetery, Belmont.
