Ida J. (Tarasavich) Ribeiro

RIBEIRO, Ida J. (Tarasavich) of Watertown, entered into rest on Saturday, September 14, 2013 in the Lexington  Health Care Center In Lexington, Massachusetts.  She was 93 years of age.  Born in Cambridge, Ida lived in Watertown for many years.  Beloved wife of the late John R. Ribeiro.  Dear and devoted mother of Diane E.Ribeiro of Waltham. Sister of  Josephine O’Meara of Somerville, Florence LaRocca of Dennis, Mary Kelley of Cambridge and the late Veronica Gallagher and Eleanor Turzyn.  Loving grandmother of Paul A. Proia, Mark S. Proia and his wife, Sharon and Andrew J. Proia and his wife, Monica and loving great-grandmother of Christian, Jarred, Ethan and Logan Proia.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ida’s visiting hours in the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home,  52 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, Thursday, Sept. 19 from 4-8 p.m. Her  funeral will be from the funeral home on Friday at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Luke’s Church, 132 Lexington St., Belmont, at 9 o’clock.
