James E. Mahoney

MAHONEY, James E. of Watertown, formerly of Belmont, unexpectedly, Sept. 24.  Son of the late Andrew A. and Margaret M. (Meehan) Mahoney.  Dear and devoted brother of Helen Mahoney of Beverly, Margaret Mahoney of Wenham, Joseph Mahoney of E. Dennis, Andrew Mahoney of Lexington, Mary Donovan of Beverly, Thomas Mahoney of Milford, NH,  Edward Mahoney of E. Dennis and the late Jeanne Byrne and John Mahoney.  Jim is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Jim’s visiting hours in the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home,  52 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, Friday, Sept. 27 from 3-7 p.m. His  funeral will be from the funeral home on Saturday at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Luke’s Church, 132 Lexington St., Belmont, at 9 o’clock.  Interment with military honors in the Belmont Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers,  contributions in Jim's memory to Fr.
