Jennie L. (Castagno) Dalessio

DALESSIO, Jennie L. (Castagno) of Watertown and Belmont, entered into rest on Saturday, October 29, 2011 in the Meadow Green Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waltham.  She was 95 years of age.  Born in Belmont, Jennie lived in Watertown for many years.  She was a retired assembler for Raytheon Electronics. The daughter of the late Antonio Castagno and Anna Cerino.  Beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Dalessio.  Dear and devoted mother of Robert Dalessio, William Dalessio and Janice Georgilas.  Sister of Alphonse Castagno, Stephen Castagno and the late Antonio, Adam, Richard, Florence Welch, Patricia Lefebvre, Rachel Frano and Anna DeMattia. Also survived by 5 loving grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  Funeral from the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home,  52 Trapelio Rd., BELMONT, Friday, Nov. 4 at 8 a.m.  Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Common St., Belmont, at 9 o’clock.  Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Thursday, 6-8 p.m.  Interment Belmont Cemetery.
