John W. Weeks

WEEKS, John W. of Belmont, entered into rest on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at home syrrounded by his loving family.  He was 93 years of age.  Beloved husband of Katharine C. (Claflin) Weeks.  Dear and devoted father of Katharine W. White and her husband, Gordon K. of Martha’s Vineyard, Martha Sinclair of Damariscotta, ME, John W. Weeks, Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Marblehead, David C. Weeks and his wife, Marie of Ellicott City, MD, Sinclair Weeks and his wife, Julia of Belmont, Stephen D. Weeks and his wife, Mary of Belmont and Robert Weeks and his wife, Anita of Arlington.  Brother of Martha Sherrill of Providence, RI, Sinlair Weeks and his wife, Mary of Concord, William Weeks and his wife, Frances of Cohasset, Beatrice Bast and her husband, Robert of Ambler, PA and the late Frances Lawrence.  John is also survived by 18 loving grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend John’s memorial service in the Plymouth Congregational Church, 582 Pleasant St. Belmont, Friday, Nov. 8 at 11:30 a.m.  Contributions in John’s  her memory to Macular Degeneration Research, 22512 Gateway Center drive, P.
