Joseph J. DeStefano

DeStefano, Joseph J. of Belmont, entered into rest at home, surrounded by his loving family, on February 1, 2015.  He was 83 years of age.  Born in Watertown, Joe has lived in Belmont for over 60 years.  He was a retired project manager in the construction trade.   Beloved husband of Mary R. (DiGiovanni).  Dear and devoted father of Mary F. Sloane and her husband, Joseph, Joseph G. DeStefano and his wife, Sarah and James R. DeStefano and his wife, Tammy Sisitsky all of Belmont.  Brother of Lawrence DeStefano, Lucy Chaisson, Ann Rogers, Eleanor Guerino and the late Mary Annese, Albert, Fred, Francis and Dominic DeStefano.  Loving grandfather Mollie and Caitlyn Sloane and Joseph, Caroline and Camille DeStefano.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Joseph’s visiting hours in the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home,  52 Trapelo Rd. BELMONT, Friday, Feb. 6 from 4-7 p.m.  His funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s  Church, 130 Common St. Belmont, Saturday, Feb. 7 at 9 o’clock. Burial Private.
