LOMBARDO, Joseph G. of Belmont, enterd into eternal rest at home, surrounded by his loving and caring family on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. He was 87 years old. Born in Belmont, Joe remained a lifelong resident. He attended Burdett College and Suffolk University. Joe was an accountant by profession, retiring from Raytheon after 35 years of employment. He was a member of the Retired Men's Club of Arlington. Beloved husband of Barbara M. (Lavallee) for over 48 years. Dear and devoted father of Joseph G. Lombardo, Jr. and his wife, Kerry of Burlington. Loving “Nonno” of Tyler, Sophia and Stella Lombardo. Devoted brother of Mary Henderson of Marshfield and the late Frank Lombardo. Dear uncle of Elaine Lee, Richard Lombardo, and Dennis Lombardo; and dear great-uncle of Dina and Frank Lombardo. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Joe’s visitation in the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home, 52 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, Monday, July 17 at 10 a.m.-12 p.m. with a funeral home service to follow at 12 p.m. Interment, with U.S. Army Military Honors, at the Belmont Cemetery.
