Julia Catherine Grant

GRANT, Julia Catherine, entered into rest unexpectedly, Saturday, February 4, 2012 at home.  She was 48 years of age.  Born in Cambridge, Julia was a lifelong resident.  A graduate of Bentley College, she worked for the Department of Environmental Protection for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as an accountant for over 22 years.  Beloved daughter of Jean (Cowan) Grant and the late William P. of Cambridge.  Dear and devoted sister of Mark W. Grant and his late wife, Sandra Marie of Cambridge and Timothy R. Grant and his partner, Todd E. Henricks of CA.  Loving aunt of Mark W. Grant, Jr. and Brendan Joseph Grant.  Funeral services in the Story Chapel at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mt. Auburn St. Cambridge, Friday, Feb. 10 at 11 o’clock.  Relatives and friends may call at the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home,  52 Trapelo Rd., BELMONT, Thursday from 4-8 p.m.  Burial service will be private.  In lieu of flowers,  contributions in her memory to the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place West, Brookline, MA 02445 would be sincerely appreciated.
