Katherine (Chrones) Zevitas

Katherine (Chrones) Zevitas, of Belmont, Massachusetts, passed away on January 21, 2020.  Beloved wife of the late George Zevitas. Devoted mother of Joanne Harris and her husband Evan, and Stephen Zevitas and his wife Paula.  Loving yiayia of John Anthony Zevitas and his wife Stephanie, Christopher Harris, Michael Zevitas and his wife Ashby, and William Harris.  Loving great yiayia of Belagia Zevitas.  Sister of the late Steve Chrones, and the late Christina Capernaros.  Sister-in-law of Dorothea Zevitas, Philip Capernaros, and Nicholas Zevitas and his wife Jennie. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Katherine's visiting hours in the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home, 52 Trapelo Road, Belmont, MA  02478 Sunday, January 26 from 2-5 p.m.  Her funeral will be from the funeral home on Monday. January 27, 2020 at 9 a.m.  followed by Services in St. Athanasius The Great Greek Orthodox Church, 4 Appleton Street, Arlington, MA at 10 a.m..  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the above named church.  Interment in Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
