Lenore Anne Sharrino

SHARRINO, Lenore Anne,  of Marietta, GA, formerly of Belmont, died Feb. 8 following a lengthy illness which she faced with dignity and  fierce determination. Beloved daughter of the late Rose M. (Silvestro) and Joseph F. Sharrino.  Lenore is survived by her brother, Anthony J. Sharrino and his wife, Carolyn of Belmont; her fraternal twin sister, Lisa R. DeTucci and her husband, Stephen of Belmont; her devoted nephew, Joseph A. Sharrino of Watertown; and her many wonderful extended family members and close friends. Lenore was a graduate of  Garland Junior College, Class of 1971. She thoroughly enjoyed her career as a flight attendant, beginning in 1974 with Eastern Airlines, then Air Tran and currently with Southwest Airlines.  She was a member of Silver Wings.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Lenore’s funeral from the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home,  52 Trapelo Rd., BELMONT, Saturday, Feb. 13 at 8 a.m. followed by her funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, 130 Common St., Belmont, at 9 o’clock.    Interment Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lenore’s memory to the Italian Home for Children,  1125 Centre St., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130, would be sincerely appreciated. www.swdfuneralhome.com
