M. Elizabeth (Fitzgerald) Dooley

DOOLEY, M. Elisabeth (Fitzgerald) of Belmont, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in the Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge.  She was 97 years old.  Born in Cambridge, Betty was a longtime resident of Belmont.  She was a proud graduate of Regis College, Class of 1942.  Beloved wife of the late George T. Dooley.  Dear and devoted mother of Thomas Dooley and his wife, Jane of Hamilton, John J. Dooley and his wife, Michelle of Utah and Brian Dooley and his wife, Jessica of Lexington.  Loving grandmother of Carolyn L., Ryan T., Jack, Keven and Katherine Dooley.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Betty visiting hours in the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home,  52 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, Friday, Feb. 2 from 5-8 p.m. Her funeral will be from the funeral home on Saturday at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, 130 Common St., Belmont, at 9 o’clock.
