Mary P. (Sullivan) O'Loughlin

O’LOUGHLIN, Mary P. (Sullivan) of E. Sandwich, formerly of Belmont,  entered into rest on Saturday,  April 29, 2017 in the McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich.  She was 94 years old.  Born in Cambridge, Mary lived in Belmont for most of her life before settling in East Sandwich 10 years ago.  She graduated from St. John's High School in Cambridge and attended secretarial school. Mary worked at the Massachusetts Bay Community College and retired as their financial aid assistant.   Beloved wife of the late Francis X. O’Loughlin.    Dear and devoted mother of Marian MacPherson and her husband, Stephen of Sandwich and Francis X. O’Loughlin and his wife, Katherine of Newtonville.  Sister of the late John L. Sullivan.  Loving grandmother of Stephen MacPherson and his wife, Billie Jo and Monica Ricci and her husband, Matthew and loving great-grandmother of Madelyn, Chase and Luke MacPherson and Charles Ricci.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Mary’s visiting hours in the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home,  52 Trapelo Rd., BELMONT, Tuesday, May 3 from 5-7:30 p.m.  Her funeral will be from the funeral home on Wednesday at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass  in St. Joseph’s Church, 130 Common St. Belmont at 9 o’clock.  Interment Belmont Cemetery.  Contributions in her Mary’s memory to the McCarthy Care Center, c/o Hope Health, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA, 02061 would be sincerely appreciated. swdfuneralhome.com
