Nancy J. Morrison

MORRISON, Nancy J. of Cambridge entered into rest unexpectedly, Saturday, March 23, 2024 in the Mt. Auburn Hospital.  She was 78 years old.  Born in Medford, Nancy lived in Cambridge for many years.  She was a graduate of Lasell University and was a Registered Nurse by profession retiring from the New England Deaconess Hospital after 35 plus years of caring and comforting her many patients through her dedicated years of healthcare.  Nancy was the beloved daughter of the late Donald Archie and Esther E. (Bennett) Morrison; dear and devoted sister of Phyllis Pheeney and her husband, Walter of Farmington Hills, Michigan and the lte Mary Ellen Ponte; the loving aunt of Mark Pheeney (Lynn), Paige Lock (Eric) and Tracey Nickerson (James); and loving great-aunt of Alexis Pheeney, Owen Miller, Hannah Pheeney, Andrew Nickerson and Kyle Nickerson.  She is also survived by her many long-time friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Nancy's funeral in the Story Chapel at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mt. Auburn Street, Cambridge, MA 02140 Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. with a  Funeral Service at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow in the family lot at Mt.
