Robert A. Dally, Jr.

Dally, Robert A., Jr. of Belmont,  entered into rest on Friday, March 6, 2015 in the Newton Wellesley Hospital.  He was 63 years of age.  Born in Everett, Mass, Bob was raised in Watertown and resided in Belmont for many years.   He was retired from the Corbett Pharmacy in Belmont where he worked as a pharmacy technician for many years.  He was most recently retired from the Belmont Communicatins, 911, as a dispatcher for over 15 years.  He also was employeed as a funeral assistant at our funeral home.  Bob was a member of the Belmont Boosters' Club.  Beloved husband of Maralyce (Dougherty) for over 33 years. Loving son of Priscilla (Thomasell) Dally of Watertown and the late Robert A. Dally, Sr.  Dear and devoted father of Rob Dally and his wife, Tiffany of Chelmsford and Nicole Dally of Belmont.  Devoted brother of David Dally and his wife, Elizabeth of Waltham and the late John Dally and his surviving wife, Susan of Holliston.  Bob is also survived by his beloved canine companion, Freddy and several nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are respectfully in vited to attend Bob’s visiting hours in Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home,  52 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, Monday, March 9 from 4-8 p.m. His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday in St. Luke’s Church, 132 Lexington St. Belmont, at 10:30 a.m.  Interment private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Robert’s memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute “The Jimmy Fund”, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02446  would be sincerely appreciated.  www.swdfuneralhome.com
