Rocco J. DiGiovanni

DiGIOVANNI, Rocco J. of Belmont,  entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 13, 2021 in the comfort of his own home.
He was 96 years old.  Born in Belmont, Rocco was a lifelong resident.  He was a well respected real estate developer by profession. Beloved husband of the late Natalie I. (Salvitti).   Dear and devoted father of Anthony L. DiGiovanni and his wife, Elaine of Belmont, Robert C. DiGiovanni and his wife, Nancy of Port St. Lucie, FL and Ann M. DiGiovanni and her partner, Kathleen Gallagher of Derry, NH.   Brother of Silvio DiGiovanni and Anna Maguire of Belmont, and the late Louis, Anthony, Vincent, Charles, Joseph and Gaetano “Guy” DiGiovanni and Mary DeStefano.   Loving grandfather of Brooke DiGiovanni Evans  and her husband, Darren; Heather DiGiovanni and her spouse, Keri Southern and Craig DiGiovanni and his wife, Gianna and loving great-grandfather of Gemma DiGiovanni. Rocco is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Rocco’s funeral from the  Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home,  52 Trapelo Rd. BELMONT, Friday, Nov. 19 at 10 a.m.   followed by his funeral Mass in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 857 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 11   a.m.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rocco’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701, would be sincerely appreciated.  Interment with U.S. Army Military Honors at the Highland Meadow Cemetery, Belmont. www.swdfuneralhome.com
