Roger Joseph Magalhaes

Roger Joseph Magalhaes, 73, of Southborough, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving and devoted family, on November 20, 2013. Roger is survived by his wife and best friend of 57 years, Claudette, his son Joseph and his wife Debra of Arlington, MA, daughters Monica Ernesti and her husband William of Hanover, MA, Melinda Pinard and her husband Joseph of Arlington, MA, and Melissa Speros and her husband Alexander of Westford, MA, as well as his cherished grandchildren, Riordan, James, Kayla, Roger, Claudia and Jack. Roger was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather, who treasured every moment with his wife and loved to hear the laughter of his grandchildren. Known for his sense of humor, loyalty and humbleness, Roger was a friend without compare. Friends and family can offer their condolences and join in a celebration of Roger's life on Tuesday, 26 November, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a 6:30 p.m. service, at Short, Williamson & Diamond funeral home, 52 Trapelo Road, Belmont, Massachusetts. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations in Roger's memory be made to Soorp Asdvadzadzin Armenian Apostolic Church, 315 Church Street, Whitinsville, MA 01588.
