Ronald Jackson Obituary

JACKSON, Ronald J., 74, of Acton, MA, formerly of Mansfield, West Yarmouth and Arlington, MA, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 29, 2017.  

Ron is survived by his wife of 19 years, Cynthia L. Jackson, his sons, Ronald E. Jackson and his wife Kristen and grandson Wesley of Cambridge, MA, Robert C. Jackson of Arlington, MA, and Ross A. Jackson of Arlington, MA, his sister Sandra Glynn and her husband Richard of Brownfield, ME, as well as cousins, nieces and nephews.

Ron was born and raised in Arlington, MA and graduated from Arlington High School.  He earned a Master’s in Engineering Management and a Master’s in Structural Engineering from Northeastern University.

Ron’s Structural Engineering career spanned 50 years.  He was President and Owner of Bay State Design Associates, Inc. in Boston for 25 years.  Over the past 15 years, his focus was in the Wireless Telecommunications Industry where he revolutionized the way Architecture and Engineering Services are implemented.  He was a Registered Professional Engineer in 31 states.   He was a perfectionist with the utmost of ethics in his approach to his work and his clients and was highly respected in his field.   He will be greatly missed by his colleagues, business associates and friends.
