Sebastian Genna Obituary

GENNA, Sebastian of Belmont, April 22, 2024 following a brief illness. He was 97 years old. Sebastian received his PhD in Physics and formerly operated Digital Scintigraphics, a medical imaging company and also worked at Boston University and the Veterans Administration Hospital.. Beloved husband of Joan C. (Livoti) Genna for over 65 years. Dear and devoted father of Albert D. Genna of Belmont. Sebastian is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Sebastian’s visitation in the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home, 52 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, Friday, April 26, 2024 at 9 a.m. with a funeral Mass to follow in St. Luke’s Church, 132 Lexington St., Belmont, at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Highland Meadow Cemetery, Belmont. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sebastian’s memory to the MSPCA, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 would be sincerely appreciated. Swdfuneralhome.com
