Siria Elena (Mitre) Alfaro

ALFARO, Siria Elena (Mitre) of Lexington, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 in the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.  She was 88 years of age.  Born in Buenos Aries, Argentina, Siria lived in Lexington for many years.  She was the daughter of the late Jose' Mitre and Malaqui Hlito, beloved mother of Ciro David Alfaro and his wife, Ellen of Natick, Elena Cristina Alfaro of Watertown, Axel Nelson Alfaro of Watertown, and Stephanie Judith Alfaro-White and her husband, Paul of Vermont, loving grandmother of Abigail Sophie Alfaro and Gabriella and Anthony White.  Siria is also survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews in Argentina.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend  Siria’s memorial services in the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home,  52 Trapelo Rd., BELMONT,  Friday, Aug. 8 at 11 a.m.  Interment services are private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Siria’s memory to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation, P.O. Box 96280, Washington, DC, 20077 would be sincerely appreciated.
