Sylvia E. (Alessandroni) Mannix

MANNIX, Sylvia E. (Alessandroni) of Spokane, Wa, formerly of Belmont, entered into rest on Sunday, January 29, 2012 in the Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, Washington.  She was 84 years of age.  Born in Boston, Sylvia lived in Belmont for many years, in Plymouth for a number of years and recently in Spokane for a few years.  She was a retired clerk at Walgreens in Arlington, where she managed the greeting card department.  Beloved wife of the late Joseph W. Mannix.  Dear and devoted mother of Linda M. Scarfo of Plymouth and Dr. Robert Scarfo and his wife, Sylvia of Spokane, Wa.  Loving "Gram" of James Ham of Norwood.  Sister of the late Nicholas and Joseph Alessandroni.  Relatives and friends may call at the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home,  52 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, Monday, Feb. 13 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, 130 Common St., Belmont, at 11 o’clock.
