Teresa (Higgins) Folan

FOLAN, Teresa (Higgins) of Oregon, formerly of Belmont, entered into rest in the Cedarcrest Home, in Tualatin, Oregon on Friday, March 30, 2012. She was 87 years of age.  Born in County Sligo, Ireland, Teresa lived in Belmont for many years before moving to Beaverton, Oregon to be with her daughter. Beloved wife of the late James Folan.  Dear and devoted mother of Kevin Folan and his wife, Karyn of Germantown, MD, Mary Laucka and her husband, Paul of Beaverton, OR, Eileen Folan of Malden, James Folan of Greenbay, Wisc., John Folan and his wife, Joyce of Chicago, IL, and Brian Folan of Beaverton, OR.  Sister of Christine Ward of Dorchester.  Loving grandma of Matthew Laucka, Paul Laucka, Jr., Caitlin Paarlberg, Sommer Folan and great-grandma of Ethan Paarlberg.  Funeral from the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home,  52 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, Wednesday, April 4 at 8 a.m.  Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, 130 Common St. Belmont, at 9 o’clock.  Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Tuesday 4-8 p.m.  Interment Mt.
