Vera M. (MacLeod) Mickalsen

MICKALSEN, Vera M. (MacLeod) of Port  St. Lucie, FL, formerly of Waltham, entered into rest on Friday, September, 6, 2013 in a hospice home in Port St. Lucie, Florida.  She was 93 years of age.  Born in Stellerton, Nova Scotia, Canada, Vera lived in Waltham for many years before making Port St. Lucie her home.  Wife of the late Robert H. Mickalsen.  Dear and devoted mother of Shirley Long, and her husband,  Eldon of Groton, VT, Dorothy Camerato and her husband, Wayne of Manchester, NH and Donald L. Mickalsen and his wife, Linda of Port  St. Lucie, FL.  Sister of Beatrice Ladner of Westborough.  Also survived by 8 loving grandchildren and 9 loving great-grandchildren.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Vera’s calling hours in the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home, 52 Trapelo Rd., BELMONT,  Tuesday, Sept. 10 from 4-8 p.m.  Her funeral service will be in the funeral home Wednesday at 11 o’clock.
