EISELER, Walter H. of Pembroke, formerly of Belmont, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 23, 2017 in the Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. He was 86 years old. Walter was born in Winnenden, Germany and lived in Belmont for most of his life. He was a talented and skilled baker by profession. Beloved husband of the late Inge L. (Steck) for over 60 years. Dear and devoted father of Helen L. Pakstis and her husband, Michael of Duxbury. Loving grandfather of Heather and Emily Pakstis of Duxbury. Dear brother of Werner Eiseler and his wife, Kathy of Duxbury, Elfriede Namauu and her husband, Manny of Maui, HI, Erich Eiseler of Winnenden, Germany and the late Kurt Eiseler of Germany. Walter is the devoted uncle of Krista Donnelly, Kili Yasak, Tim Eiseler and Uve Eiseler. He is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Walter is fondly remembered as the co-owner with his beloved wife, Inge of the formerly known Henry's Bakery of Belmont. People would come from near and far to purchase his sumptuous cakes, delicate and delicious pastries and tasty breads.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Walter’s visiting hours in the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home, 52 Trapelo Rd., BELMONT, Thursday, Dec. 28 from 4-7 p.m. His funeral service will be in the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. Burial to follow with Military Honors in the family lot in the Belmont Cemetery.
