William J. Mahoney, Jr.

MAHONEY, William J., Jr. of Belmont, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February  8, 2019 in the Mt. Auburn Hospital.  He was 74 years old. A graduate of Merrimack College Bill was an inspector for a cement finishing company.  He was very active with the sports programs for the Town of Belmont.  Beloved son of the late William J. and Elizabeth C. (Flynn) Mahoney.  Dear and devoted brother of Francis P. of Belmont and Mary E. Heckley and her husband, George of Westminster.  Loving uncle of Lauren Roche and Neil Heckley and loving great-uncle of Jacob and Madison Roche. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Bill’s funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, 130 Common St., Belmont, Friday, Feb. 15 at 9 a.m.  Interment Belmont Cemetery.
