BRUZZESE, Ruth V. (Canalejo) of Belmont, entered into rest in the Mt. Auburn Hospital, Cambridge, on Saturday, August 20.   She was 92 years old.  Born in Key West, Florida, Ruth had lived in Belmont since 1967.  She worked for many years at the Walter E. Fernald School in Waltham in the housekeeping division.  Wife of the late Thomas Bruzzese and Donald F. MacGillivray.  Dear and devoted mother of Donald F. MacGillivray of Belmont, Jean M. Bouchard and her husband, Arthur of Carver, William J. MacGillivray of Belmont and the late Robert A. MacGillivray.  Sister-in-law of Martha Canalejo of FL and James Messer of CA. Loving grandmother of Mark and Krysten Bouchard, Susan, Jennifer, John, Scott, Christopher and Tina Marie MacGillivray.  She is also survived by 3 loving great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ruth’s visiting hours in the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home, 52 Trapelo Road, BELMONT, Tuesday, August 23 from 4-7 p.m. Her funeral service will be in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m.  Interment Belmont Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ruth’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701  would be sincerely appreciated. Past President, 3 terms of the VFW, Post 1272 Ladies’ Auxiliary, Belmont and was an active volunteer for the American Red Cross blood drives and the Bedford V.A. Hospital.

Bill- I am so sorry about your mother she was a good woman as was your dad a good man.I am not able transportation wise to be there for you. I will say a prayer for both of them.
